Feast

'Feast' brings together three artists - Caitlin Devoy, Priscilla Rose Howe and Anna Sisson - working across painting, drawing, and sculpture in an exploration of the politics of the female body and sexuality.

Historically, women’s sexuality and pleasure have been sidelined, misunderstood, feared, or controlled. Reclaiming the pleasure narrative in overtly feminist environments, these artists observe pleasure as not only pleasurable, but queer, romantic, indulgent, and humorous, too – flirting with and teasing out the fallacy of appropriate female lust, subverting binary constraints of gender, sex, and the body.
