"These present paintings start out seriously, drawings combined with diagrams painting and materials - yes. But so quickly it becomes obvious again how odd this process is, in this world we inhabit. Which world is it today? I realise that no matter how seriously that ones practice is, it is also utterly absurd. And I guess my paintings look to reflect that. Start, fall, all over, lay, get up, go again … try and move, make a move, … giddy up."
