04.10.14

RICHARD ORJIS has collaborated with A.D. Schierning to create "Hauora Garden" as part of Pop Projects. Located at Studio One Toi Tū, 1 Ponsonby Road, the garden is an interactive and sensory space that aims to reconnect urban dwellers with the natural world. It includes Rongoā Māori, introduced medicinal, edible and endangered native plants.

"Hauora Garden of Health and Happiness" is an artistic planting project inspired by a global movement for the need to better incorporate plants into urban life. It aspires to be an educational resource for the community.  Work begings on the project in October.  For further information and to find out how you can be involved:  http://www.pop.org.nz/projects/hauoragarden/
