MATT ELLWOOD | Sculpture on the Gulf 2015
MATT ELLWOOD exhibits newly commissioned work "Half a Pallet of Building Blocks" in Headland Sculpture on the Gulf 2015 on Waiheke Island.
Ellwood has created a plywood version of concrete mortar blocks on a pallet alongside individually available blocks. The work references the work of American minimalist sculptor Carl Andre as well as previous work by Ellwood including his plywood crocodiles and R2D2's.
