Gavin Hurley | The Rooms | Tauranga Art Gallery
GAVIN HURLEY has new work in "The Rooms" - a Tauranga Art Gallery exhibition in partnership with The Elms Foundation who have invited nine artists to transform the rooms within The Elms historic mission house and library.
The artists will use their artwork and items from The Elms collection to create something truly extraordinary that pays hommage to the past in a new, exciting way.
Artists Emily Siddell and Stephen Bradbourne are transforming the Hallway, the Crystal Chain Gang the Dining Room, artist Matthew McIntrye Wilson is transforming Duff's Bedroom, Maureen Lander the external Library, Vita Cochran has been assigned the Main Bedroom, local artist John Roy has the Drawing Room and Gavin Hurley will be transforming the Blue Bedroom.
