Patrick Pound | Photography and Air | Photo Espana 2019, Madrid
Patrick Pound has opened a new exhibition "Photography and Air" at El Museo Lazaro Galdiano in Madrid, Spain. The project is one of five exhibitions for the curatorial programme put together by Susan Bright and titled "Deja Vu?". It runs as part of Photo Espana 2019 from 4 June - 25 August.
Air is the recurring element with Pound selecting and re-presenting photographs and objects to create a new reading. It is a collection of seemingly dislocated and unrelated images - many bought online - which bring together the idea of air and reflect on the meaning of collecting and contemporary photography.
