Tiffany Singh | In Motion: The Moving Parts of Contemporary Art | Dunedin Public Art Gallery
TIFFANY SINGH has new work in the exhibition "In Motion: The Moving Parts of Contemporary Art" from 18 May - 22 September 2019.
The exhibition explores ideas of movement, motion and interactivity through the contemporary art practices of Sara Hughes, Tiffany Singh, Rebecca Baumann, David Haines and Joyce Hinterding. In this family-friendly, hands on exhibition, we bring together works from the Gallery’s collection with external loans and new commissions. In Motion invites audiences to explore kinetic sculpture; use their body and action to move through a three-dimensional world; use colourful magnetic shapes to create an evolving artwork on the gallery walls; and in the case of Singh's work - be part of a reciprocal exchange aimed to support a community organisation.
