Artists in Isolation: Henrietta Harris
HENRIETTA HARRIS is in a bubble with her flatmate and his girlfriend in Grafton, so has been going for daily walks and runs in the nearby domain. “I do this anyway, but I need a routine or my brain crumbles so I’m being good about taking a morning turn about the park. I’m not finding working from home too bad although it feels a bit crowded and claustrophobic at times.” Henrietta has been using lockdown time to work on pieces for her new solo exhibition in late 2020. “I’ve had to ration out paint as I moved out of my studio in a hurry so have been prioritizing small pieces, as well as doing sketchbook drawings which I don’t always have time to do, so that’s nice.” As well she says she has “...been trying to watch and read lots but have mainly been scrolling on my phone to be perfectly honest, and making a bit of jewelery, and being a foodie in the kitchen.” Very relatable!
