Artists in Isolation: Matt Ellwood
MATT ELLWOOD has been in his family bubble with wife Robyn, kids Koromiko and Toby, and their dog Bruno. Matt is also the head of Fine Arts at Whitecliffe so has been working full time from home planning and delivering online learning (albeit out of 8 year old Toby's bedroom) and has hardly found a minute to be in the studio. Downtime includes lots of cooking (Spinach and feta pie a family fave), playing quite bad rock'n'roll on the ukulele and smashing up his backyard patio for some physical exercise and mental therapy (highly recommended). He also makes his own beer and has a decent coffee machine so has felt pretty well equipped for staying at home indefinitely.
