SAM MITCHELL | THERE IS A CRACK IN EVERYTHING....THAT LETS THE LIGHT IN
SAM MITCHELL's six month residency in Invercargill as the William Hodges Fellow will culminate in an exhibition at the Southland Museum of Art and History from July 18th - 31 August 2014.
The exhibition "There is a Crack in Everything...that lets the Light In" is taken from a Leonard Cohen song and makes reference to Mitchell's current practise of paintings on perspex and, more recently, pottery.
SAM MITCHELL will exhibit new work from this residency at Melanie Roger Gallery as a solo exhibition in late September. To enquire: info@melanierogergallery.com
