New work by SAM MITCHELL and GAVIN HURLEY will be exhibited at the Sarjeant Gallery in Whanganui from 13 August - 30 October 2016. The exhibition "Beards, Boys, Platters, Shattered Dreams" includes work made during their time spent at Tylee Cottage in late 2015.
2016 marks the thirtieth anniversary of the Tylee Cottage residency programe and both artists have drawn inspiration from the year 1986 and created ceramic works and collages that reflect elements of the local history.
