Artists in Isolation: Jennifer Mason
Guest artist JENNIFER MASON shares her bubble with her fur baby Wee Man Chihuhua who enjoys long socially distanced walks on the beach out at Piha where they live. Like many, food is a priority in their bubble and here includes a few delicious dishes they have been enjoying. Jen says she is trying to “read slowly as she was unprepared” and doesn’t have enough books to get her through lockdown. As such she is taking time to make work in her home studio and here shares a number of shots of her paint mixing process to make the skin colour she is currently working with on an amazing new series of figurative works.
