New work by Gavin Hurley imagines the viewer as a visitor to his studio. Each work is from the visitors perspective – a voyouristic peak into the artist’s studio. As begun in his previous exhibition “Business Paintings” 2018, Hurley mines his own archive of past works. Characters from his past series make guest appearances – Rita, Christine, Hugo, Cocteau and of course his recurring boy figure.
